Are You Really Ready For Success?

Recently I read a quote by Benjamin Disraeli stating “The secret of success in life is for a man to be ready for his time when it comes.” So many times we read about success stories of people and have thought, “Wow–they are lucky.” I know I have. But, were they really lucky? What is luck anyway? I belive that Seneca, the Roman dramatist, philosopher and politician was right when he said “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” Many success stories have followed months and even years of preparation. Years of being on the backside of the mountain, years of seeing something in the mind that seemed impossible, years of sacrifice and yes, years of failure all culminated into success because of an opportunity. The person was not necessarily smarter, but had prepared and had a will that overpowered any setback. Preparation is not always the fanciest thing to do. It may not impress others (it actually may discourage your friends and family) but it is essential to success.

How are you preparing for your destiny today? What do you need to do to prepare? Are you ready for the success or are you still dreaming of it?

THROUGH DAWN’S EYES- YES, YES and YES! Preparation is the “ground” work, the “dirty” work, the “necessary” work that solidifies our foundation. Without SOLID PREPARATION, we end up like the man who build his house on the sand. When the wind and waves came, he was swept away.

The gardener tills and plants and waters and nurtures but God alone brings the fruitful harvest in DUE SEASON when our garden is ready to PRODUCE.

No man can induce a harvest by his intention, but time and chance come to every man and when our time and chance comes, we will either be positioned to embrace and soar or flop miserably.

We have heard it before…

Wonderfully said Melissa. You are a true gem shining through!!!!Sending many hugs and love your way….
